The 1994 Saab 900 was the first car to have been released in the 900 series. The car retained the front wheel drive but was not the long wheel base it was before. It was at least 2 inches shorter and it was among the first car to come with a V6 Configuration. When the car was first released it was a four door hatchback in both the trims the 900 S and the 900 SE.The 2 door hatchback was released much later that year. However the two doors that were released came with a turbocharged Configuration with 185 horse power and a 2.0L 4 cylinder Configuration. The 900 S had a 2.3L 4 cylinder Configuration which delivered up to 150 horse power. The 900 SE four door coupe’ came with a 2.5L V6 Configuration which delivered up to 170 horse power. Both the trims had a standard 5 speed manual transmission and also there was an optional 4 speed automatic transmission.Dual air bags and 4 wheel disc brakes where standard features which were offered along with the Saab 900 models. It had a generous leg room at the front and the back and the boot.
