The BMW E90 is a fifth generation car platform of the BMW 3 Series range of compact executive automobiles. The car is also available in the form of a station wagon, coupe cabriolet, and coupe. The BMW E90 is meant to serve as a successor to the E46 platform of automobiles. It was launched in March of 2005.The BMW E90 sedan is wider, longer, and taller than the car it succeeds. Its wheelbase is also thirty five mm longer. Much aluminum was utilized in the construction of the car’s body and suspension as a means of giving the car as much weight as previous BMW models. The BMW 90 is heavier, however. The Configuration head is made out of aluminum. The piston sleeves are made of steel.The BMW E90 sedan is also noted for having added run flat tires to the 3 series range. As a result, automobiles that come with run flats do not come equipped with a spare tire.A special homologation version of the car known as the 320si is available. It was intended to qualify the automobile for the FIA World Touring Car Championship. This car was released in the year 2006 and limited to 2600 units.
